Interlex Language Services has existed since 2002, and from the beginning has specialised in brochures, newsletters and website texts. In our opinion, these texts need a little bit more attention to make them just right. A little bit of thought to make sure the target audience wants to buy the product, or visit the location. Well-written, smooth translations; we call them creative translations.
That specialisation is important to us. A translator who is good at translating technical manuals is not always the best translator to translate a marketing text. A translation agency that “does everything” will often send a marketing text to a translator who is specialised in translating technical manuals. This does not always work out.
Interlex will never do this. Our goal is to deliver translations that are not recognisable as such by the reader. A German thinks the author of the text was German, a Spaniard thinks he or she was Spanish. And not only that, they also think the author was rather good!
Interlex does not, in other words, translate manuals, legal texts or medical texts (though we can get you into contact with the right people if needed). We think it is important to stick with what we are good at!
